Virginia High School Baseball - Auburn wallops Galax
April 15, 2025: Galax, VA 24333 The crowd at Tuesday's league battle between the Auburn Eagles (Riner, VA) and the host Galax Maroon Tide (Galax, VA), saw Auburn's baseball team gain a win over Galax by a tally of 21-6.
The Eagles (10-1) will now prepare for their battle against William Byrd (Vinton, VA). The Terriers enter the non-league battle with a 2-6 record. In their last battle, William Byrd was overwhelmed by Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA), 13-3, in a league battle.
Next, the Maroon Tide face the Radford Bobcats (Radford, VA) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, April 17. Galax will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Bobcats enter the battle with a 3-3 record after their 3-0 league loss to Glenvar (Salem, VA).
