In Wednesday's league match, the host Munster Mustangs softball team scored a nice 12-4 win over the Lowell Red Devils.

The Mustangs (7-5) will now prepare for their match against Leo (Leo, IN). The Lions come into the non-league match with a 3-1 record. In their last match, Leo was routed by Carroll (Fort Wayne, IN), 6-1, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Red Devils confront the Hanover Central Wildcats (Cedar Lake, IN) in a Northwest Crossroads match, on Thursday, April 16. Lowell will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record. The Wildcats come into the match with a 6-1 record after their 7-5 non-league win over Marian Catholic (Chicago Heights, IL).
