In Wednesday's league test, the St. Johns Redskins (St. Johns, AZ) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Valley Pirates (Sanders, AZ), by a tally of 27-0.

Next, the Redskins clash with the Phoenix Christian Cougars (Phoenix, AZ) in a non-league test, on Saturday, April 18. St. Johns will attempt to advance on its 13-9 season record. The Cougars go into the test with a 17-7 record after their 5-0 league loss to Camp Verde (Camp Verde, AZ).

The Pirates (4-9) will now prepare for their test against Hopi (Keams Canyon, AZ). The Bruins go into the 2A North test with a 5-9 record. In their last test, Hopi was routed by Northland Prep Academy (Flagstaff, AZ), 16-2, in a league test.
