Virginia High School Softball - Denbigh sneaks past Hampton
April 17, 2025: Hampton, VA 23669 The Denbigh Patriots softball team scored 1 runs and held the host Hampton Crabbers to 0 in the Patriots league win on Thursday.
The Patriots now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jamestown for a non-league battle on Monday, April 21. Denbigh will confront a Eagles team coming off a 15-0 league win over Bruton (Williamsburg, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 3-4.
With the loss, Hampton moves to 1-6 on the season. The Crabbers travel to Phoebus (Hampton, VA) to confront the Phantoms in a Peninsula battle on Tuesday, April 22. The Phantoms come into the battle with a record of 3-7. Phoebus lost 17-7 in their recent league battle against Bethel (Hampton, VA)
