The Hammond Academy of Science & Tech Hawks (Hammond, IN) baseball the visiting Hammond Central Wolves (Hammond, IN), 8-4 in Friday's non-league challenge.

The Hawks now own a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hammond Baptist for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 19. Hammond Academy of Science & Tech will clash with a Swordsmen team coming off a 20-0 non-league win over East Chicago Central (East Chicago, IN). The Swordsmen record now stands at 2-0.
