The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Hammond Academy of Science & Tech Hawks (Hammond, IN) and the host Hammond Central Wolves (Hammond, IN), saw Hammond Academy of Science & Tech's baseball team gain a win over Hammond Central by a tally of 13-5.

The Hawks (16-4) will now prepare for their battle against Westville (Westville, IN). The Blackhawks enter the non-league battle with a 7-15 record. In their last battle, Westville was overwhelmed by Wheeler (Valparaiso, IN), 9-1, in a non-league battle.
