In Tuesday's league contest, the Scituate Spartans (North Scituate, RI) softball team overwhelmed the host Portsmouth Patriots (Portsmouth, RI), by a margin of 18-0.

With the triumph, Scituate moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Spartans travel to West Warwick (West Warwick, RI) to play the Wizards in a Division 2 contest on Monday, April 8. The Wizards come into the contest with a record of 2-0. West Warwick won 24-2 in their recent league contest against Narragansett (Narragansett, RI)
