The Miller School of Albemarle Mavericks baseball team scored 12 runs and held the host Virginia Episcopal School Bishops to 1 in the Mavericks league win on Wednesday.

The Mavericks now hold a 10-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Collegiate for a non-league test on Thursday, April 3. Miller School of Albemarle will play a Cougars team coming off a 14-0 non-league win over Fredericksburg Christian (Fredericksburg, VA). The Cougars record now stands at 6-2.

With the defeat, Virginia Episcopal School drops to 4-3 on the year. The Bishops host Christchurch School (Christchurch, VA) to play the Seahorses in a non-league test on Saturday, April 5.
