In Wednesday's league bout, the Virginia Episcopal School Bishops (Lynchburg, VA) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Carlisle Chiefs (Axton, VA), by a tally of 7-1.

Next up, the Bishops encounter the Roanoke Catholic Celtics (Roanoke, VA) in a bout, on Tuesday, April 22. Virginia Episcopal School will attempt to upgrade on its 8-4 season record. The Celtics enter the bout with a 1-10 record after their 18-0 league loss to Miller School of Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA).
