The Carlisle Chiefs (Axton, VA) baseball the visiting Blue Ridge Barons (St. George, VA), 6-1 in Tuesday's league challenge.

The Chiefs now own a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Westover Christian Academy for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 10. Carlisle will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-1 league win over Faith Christian Academy (Hurt, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-2.

With the defeat, Blue Ridge drops to 3-7 on the year. The Barons host Shenandoah Valley Academy (New Market, VA) to clash with the Stars in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 9. The Stars go into the challenge with a record of 0-2. Shenandoah Valley Academy lost 12-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Eastern Mennonite (Harrisonburg, VA)
