In Thursday's league test, the Santa Fe Indians (Santa Fe, TX) softball squad the host Ball Golden Tornadoes (Galveston, TX), by a tally of 5-2.

Next, the Indians clash with the La Porte Bulldogs (La Porte, TX) in a 5A Region III District 20 test, on Tuesday, April 7. Santa Fe will attempt to move on its 21-6 season record. The Bulldogs come into the outing with a 17-3 record after their 11-1 league win over Iowa Colony (Iowa Colony, TX).

With the loss, Ball moves to 9-17 on the season. The Golden tornadoes travel to Angleton (Angleton, TX) to encounter the Wildcats in a 5A Region III District 20 outing on Tuesday, April 7. The Wildcats come into the outing with a record of 15-12. Angleton won 4-0 in their recent league test against Santa Fe (Santa Fe, TX)
