In Tuesday's league test, the Angleton Wildcats (Angleton, TX) softball squad the visiting Ball Golden Tornadoes (Galveston, TX), by a tally of 7-3.

Next, the Wildcats clash with the La Porte Bulldogs (La Porte, TX) in a 5A Region III District 20 test, on Friday, April 10. Angleton will attempt to advance on its 16-12 season record. The Bulldogs go into the test with a 18-3 record after their 8-4 league win over Santa Fe (Santa Fe, TX).

The Golden Tornadoes (9-18) will now prepare for their test against Bridge City (Bridge City, TX). The Cardinals go into the non-league test with a 11-13 record. In their last test, Bridge City held off Jasper (Jasper, TX), 13-2, in a league test.
