The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Santa Fe Indians (Santa Fe, TX) and the host Angleton Wildcats (Angleton, TX), observed Santa Fe's softball team get by Angleton by a tally of 4-3.

The Indians (17-3) will now prepare for their bout against Ball (Galveston, TX). The Tornadoes enter the 5A Region III District 20 contest with a 8-11 record. In their last contest, Ball was edged by Iowa Colony (Iowa Colony, TX), 8-2, in a league contest.

The Wildcats now hold a 11-10 record. They play next when they travel to Ball for a 5A Region III District 20 contest on Tuesday, March 10. Angleton will face a Tornadoes squad coming off a 6-3 league loss to Santa Fe (Santa Fe, TX). The Tornadoes record now stands at 8-12.
