The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Hoke County Bucks (Raeford, NC) and the visiting Pine Forest Trojans (Fayetteville, NC), observed Hoke County's softball team prevail over Pine Forest by a tally of 12-0.

The Bucks (12-2) will now prepare for their bout against Richmond Senior (Rockingham, NC). The Raiders go into the Mid-South 7A/8A bout with a 5-8 record. In their last contest, Richmond Senior thwarted Jack Britt (Fayetteville, NC), 9-5, in a league contest.

The Trojans now hold a 3-12 record. They play next when they travel to Pinecrest for a Mid-South 7A/8A contest on Tuesday, April 14. Pine Forest will face a Patriots squad coming off a 19-17 league loss to Overhills (Spring Lake, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 6-6.
