Rhode Island High School Lacrosse - Cumberland drops to Mount St. Charles Academy
April 22, 2022: Woonsocket, RI 02895 In Friday's league test, the host Mount St. Charles Academy Mounties lacrosse squad scored a tight 15-11 victory over the Cumberland Clippers.
The Mounties now have a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mt. Hope for a Division 2 test on Tuesday, April 26. Mount St. Charles Academy will face a Huskies squad coming off a 12-6 league loss to Coventry (Coventry, RI). The Huskies record now stands at 1-4.
In their next game, the Clippers face the Prout Crusaders (Wakefield, RI) in a Division 2 test, on Tuesday, April 26. Cumberland will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Crusaders come into the test with a 2-1 record after their 11-7 league win over Coventry (Coventry, RI).
