The South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC) softball routed the host Ballantyne Ridge Wolves (Charlotte, NC), 12-5 in Tuesday's league outing.

The Sabres now sport a 12-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Myers Park for a So Meck 4A outing on Thursday, April 24. South Mecklenburg will encounter a Mustangs team coming off a 15-0 league win over Olympic (Charlotte, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 10-9.

With the loss, Ballantyne Ridge moves to 8-15 on the season. The Wolves host Palisades (Charlotte, NC) to encounter the Pumas in a So Meck 4A outing on Wednesday, April 23.
