Purnell Swett Rams (Pembroke, NC) supporters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Hoke County Bucks (Raeford, NC), 7-4 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Purnell Swett improves its record to 14-5 on the year. The Rams host Lumberton (Lumberton, NC) to play the Pirates in a Tri-County 6A/7A game on Friday, April 24. The Pirates enter the game with a record of 12-9. Lumberton won 13-10 in their recent league game against Scotland (Laurinburg, NC)
