The Big Sky Eagles overwhelmed the host Hellgate Knights softball squad by a count of 19-0 in Saturday's league challenge.

Next, the Eagles meet the Flathead Braves (Kalispell, MT) in a AA Western challenge, on Tuesday, April 28. Big Sky will attempt to upgrade on its 8-3 season record. The Braves go into the challenge with a 3-8 record after their 1-0 league loss to Butte (Butte, MT).

The Knights (0-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Helena (Helena, MT). The Bengals go into the AA Western challenge with a 3-8 record. In their last challenge, Helena was routed by Russell (Great Falls, MT), 9-2, in a non-league challenge.
