April 26, 2024: Mars Hill, ME 04758 The Central Aroostook Panthers (Mars Hill, ME) softball routed the visiting Madawaska Owls (Madawaska, ME), 16-1 in Friday's league bout.
The Panthers (1-1) will now prepare for their bout against Ashland (Ashland, ME). The Hornets go into the Class D North bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, Ashland was routed by Hodgdon (Hodgdon, ME), 14-4, in a league bout.
The Owls now possess a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Fort Kent for a non-league bout on Monday, April 29. Madawaska will confront a Warriors squad coming off a 20-10 non-league loss to Fort Fairfield (Fort Fairfield, ME). The Warriors record now stands at 0-2.
