Maine High School Softball - Ashland bounces Madawaska
May 7, 2024: Ashland, ME 04732 Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Ashland Hornets (Ashland, ME) and the visiting Madawaska Owls (Madawaska, ME), witnessed Ashland's softball squad prevail over Madawaska by a count of 25-5.
The Hornets now sport a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Southern Aroostook for a Class D North match on Monday, May 13.
With the loss, Madawaska moves to 0-5 on the season. The Owls host Central Aroostook (Mars Hill, ME) to face the Panthers in a Class D North match on Saturday, May 11. The Panthers go into the match with a record of 3-3. Central Aroostook lost 11-0 in their recent league match against Hodgdon (Hodgdon, ME)
