Kentucky High School Softball - Pulaski County bounces Wayne County
April 26, 2024: Somerset, KY 42503 The Pulaski County Maroons routed the visiting Wayne County Cardinals softball squad by a final score of 10-0 in Friday's non-league battle.
The Maroons (17-4) will now prepare for their battle against Russell County (Russell Springs, KY). The Lakers go into the non-league battle with a 14-10 record. In their last battle, Russell County notched a victory over Southwestern (Somerset, KY), 14-6, in a non-league battle.
The Cardinals now possess a 5-14 record. They play next when they travel to McCreary Central for a District 48 battle on Monday, April 29. Wayne County will meet a Raiders squad coming off a 9-5 league loss to Wayne County (Monticello, KY). The Raiders record now stands at 5-12.
