The River Forest Ingots softball squad (Hobart, IN), was routed 19-1 in Tuesday's league contest with the visiting Wheeler Bearcats (Valparaiso, IN)

With the triumph, Wheeler improves its record to 8-5 on the year. The Bearcats host South Central (Union Mills, IN) to face the Satellites in a non-league contest on Wednesday, April 29. The Satellites enter the contest with a record of 6-3. South Central won 4-2 in their recent league contest against Washington Township (Valparaiso, IN)

The Ingots now hold a 1-8 record. They play next when they host Illiana Christian for a Greater South Shore contest on Thursday, April 30. River Forest will face a Vikings squad coming off a 6-3 non-league loss to Hanover Central (Cedar Lake, IN). The Vikings record now stands at 7-5.
