Match Summary

3 teams show up to play, a very funky net, & a really late start but we still got the game in! Lake Balboa opened up a 5-2 lead but the Mag Sci Academy Reseda Lobos had other ideas & quickly tied at 5 all then led 9-7. The Cougars responded to tie at 9. The Lobos answered at 10-9. Teams dueled even up to 12 a side. Levon Baloian then got his service mojo working & the Cougars pounced out to a commanding 19-12 spread. The Lake Show rolled on scoring 7 of the next 9 points to set the tone for the balance of the match. Set 2: the Lobos were noticeably down as the teal & black continued to roar away with a 6-0 start. 2 rotations later it was 11-2 Cougs followed by a 17-3 score in the next rotation. This set was in the freezer as lake Balboa iced it siding out 8-6 for the win. Set 3 was an instant replay with the minions of Freddy Cougar taking an early commanding lead of 8-1. At the end of the first time through the service order it was 16-5 for the Rocky Balboas. 9-2 for the finish & win.
