April 5, 2024: Wynne, AR 72396 The crowd at Friday's non-league match between the Marion Patriots (Marion, AR) and the host Wynne Yellowjackets (Wynne, AR), saw Marion's softball squad nip Wynne by a count of 3-2.
The Patriots now sport a 3-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Paragould for a 5A East match on Tuesday, April 9. Marion will face a Rams squad coming off a 14-0 non-league loss to Farmington (Farmington, AR). The Rams record now stands at 7-8.
With the loss, Wynne falls to 9-3 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets host Forrest City (Forrest City, AR) to face the Mustangs in a 4A Region 3 match on Monday, April 8. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 4-11. Forrest City lost 18-1 in their recent league match against Trumann (Trumann, AR)
