The South Mecklenburg Sabres baseball team (Charlotte, NC), was overwhelmed 9-1 in Friday's league outing with the host Olympic Trojans (Charlotte, NC)

The Trojans now hold a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hanahan for a non-league outing on Monday, April 11. Olympic will confront a Hawks team coming off a 10-6 league win over Oceanside Collegiate Academy (Mt. Pleasant, SC). The Hawks record now stands at 3-2.

Next, the Sabres confront the Independence Patriots (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, April 9. South Mecklenburg will attempt to advance on its 6-8 season record.
