The Asheville Cougars lacrosse team (Asheville, NC), was overwhelmed 21-11 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting North Lincoln Knights (Lincolnton, NC)

With the victory, North Lincoln advances its record to 8-5 on the season. The Knights host Hickory (Hickory, NC) to encounter the Red Tornadoes in a NW/The Mountain/Western Foothills/Mtn. Foothills battle on Thursday, April 10. The Red Tornadoes come into the battle with a record of 8-3. Hickory won 22-7 in their recent league battle against Watauga (Boone, NC)

The Cougars now sport a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host T.C. Roberson for a NW/The Mountain/Western Foothills/Mtn. Foothills battle on Thursday, April 10.
