Williams Vikings (Williams, AZ) backers left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Northland Prep Academy Spartans (Flagstaff, AZ), 11-1 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Williams upgrades its record to 8-8 on the year. The Vikings host Mogollon (Heber, AZ) to play the Mustangs in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 14. The Mustangs enter the game with a record of 9-11. Mogollon won 11-1 in their recent non-league game against Chinle (Chinle, AZ)

The Spartans now own a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Round Valley for a 2A North game on Friday, April 10. Northland Prep Academy will play a Elks squad coming off a 14-4 non-league loss to Show Low (Show Low, AZ). The Elks record now stands at 17-3.
