The Mason County Royals (Maysville, KY) baseball trounced the host Rowan County Vikings (Morehead, KY), 15-3 in Monday's non-league challenge.

The Royals now own a 12-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Powell County for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 12. Mason County will clash with a Pirates team coming off a 11-1 non-league loss to Rowan County (Morehead, KY). The Pirates record now stands at 17-14.

With the defeat, Rowan County drops to 17-16 on the year. The Vikings host West Carter (Olive Hill, KY) to clash with the Comets in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 12.
