New York High School Softball - Newtown bounces Maspeth
May 15, 2024: Maspeth, NY Spectators at Wednesday's non-league match between the Newtown Pioneers (Elmhurst, NY) and the host Maspeth (Maspeth, NY), witnessed Newtown's softball squad prevail over Maspeth by a count of 26-3.
The Pioneers now sport a 8-4 record. They play next when they host Long Island City for a PSAL Queens A match on Friday, May 17.
With the loss, Maspeth moves to 5-9 on the season.
