New Jersey High School Lacrosse - Bergen Tech nipped by Pompton Lakes
May 15, 2025: Hackensack, NJ 07601 Pompton Lakes Cardinals (Pompton Lakes, NJ) backers exited the stadium satisfied Thursday as they saw their lacrosse team nip the host Bergen Tech Knights (Hackensack, NJ), 7-6 in a league game.
With the victory, Pompton Lakes improves its record to 8-5 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Clifton (Clifton, NJ) to play the Mustangs in a Dowling game on Saturday, May 17. The Mustangs come into the game with a record of 2-14. Clifton won 11-7 in their recent league game against Union Catholic (Scotch Plains, NJ)
The Knights now have a 1-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hawthorne for a Dowling game on Saturday, May 17. Bergen Tech will play a Bears team coming off a 13-4 league win over Eastern Christian (North Haledon, NJ). The Bears record now stands at 5-7.
