In Saturday's non-league game, the host Grosse Pointe South Blue Devils baseball team scored a tight 7-6 victory over the Western International Cowboys.

The Blue Devils (20-11) will now prepare for their game against Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, MI). The Oilers go into the non-league game with a 4-1 record.
