The Western International Cowboys baseball squad scored 7 runs and held the host Grosse Pointe South Blue Devils to 1 in the Cowboys non-league triumph on Saturday.

Coming up next, the Cowboys play the Cass Tech Technicians (Detroit, MI) in a Detroit Public - Southwest contest, on Friday, June 2. Western International will attempt to better on its 13-13 season record.

The Blue Devils now sport a 21-13 record. They take the field next when they host Lakeview for a non-league contest on Saturday, June 3.
