In Tuesday's league contest, the Mt. Hope Huskies (Bristol, RI) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Rogers Vikings (Newport, RI), by a margin of 15-5.

With the triumph, Mt. Hope moves its record to 10-1 on the year. The Huskies travel to Tiverton (Tiverton, RI) to play the Tigers in a Division 2 A contest on Friday, May 6. The Tigers come into the contest with a record of 2-8. Tiverton won 12-2 in their recent non-league contest against Westport (Westport, MA)

In their next game, the Vikings play the Narragansett Mariners (Narragansett, RI) in a Division 2 A contest, on Thursday, May 5. Rogers will attempt to move on its 0-8 season record. The Mariners come into the contest with a 5-4 record after their 12-10 league loss to Prout (Wakefield, RI).
