Iowa High School Softball - St. Edmond bounces Humboldt
May 30, 2025: Fort Dodge, IA 50501 The crowd at Friday's league bout between the St. Edmond Gaels (Fort Dodge, IA) and the visiting Humboldt Wildcats (Humboldt, IA), observed St. Edmond's softball team get by Humboldt by a tally of 9-5.
The Gaels (3-2) will now prepare for their bout against Iowa Falls-Alden (Iowa Falls, IA). The Cadets go into the North Central bout with a 1-1 record. In their last bout, Iowa Falls-Alden tipped Algona (Algona, IA), 4-3, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Eagle Grove Eagles (Eagle Grove, IA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, June 2. Humboldt will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 9-0 league win over West Hancock (Britt, IA).
