Iowa High School Softball - St. Edmond bounces Webster City
June 6, 2025: Fort Dodge, IA 50501 The St. Edmond Gaels softball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting Webster City Lynx to 1 in the Gaels league win on Friday.
The Gaels now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bishop Heelan Catholic for a non-league battle on Saturday, June 7. St. Edmond will confront a Crusaders team coming off a 10-2 league win over Lincoln (Council Bluffs, IA). The Crusaders record now stands at 4-3.
With the loss, Webster City moves to 1-4 on the season. The Lynx host Van Meter (Van Meter, IA) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Saturday, June 7. The Bulldogs go into the match with a record of 9-1. Van Meter won 10-0 in their recent league match against Madrid (Madrid, IA)
