In Tuesday's non-league test, the host Newtown Nighthawks lacrosse squad scored a tight 17-11 victory over the Glastonbury Tomahawks.

The Nighthawks now have a 15-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ridgefield for a non-league test on Friday, June 3. Newtown will face a Tigers squad coming off a 17-2 non-league win over Hamden (Hamden, CT). The Tigers record now stands at 13-6.
