May 6, 2025: Eugene, OR 97402 The Willamette Wolverines (Eugene, OR) baseball got by the visiting Grants Pass Cavemen (Grants Pass, OR), 5-4 in Tuesday's league challenge.
The Wolverines now own a 9-9 record. They take the field next when they host West Salem for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 9. Willamette will clash with a Titans team coming off a 7-6 non-league loss to Roseburg (Roseburg, OR). The Titans record now stands at 8-12.
With the defeat, Grants Pass drops to 9-8 on the year. The Cavemen host South Medford (Medford, OR) to clash with the Panthers in a 6A Southwest challenge on Friday, May 9. The Panthers go into the challenge with a record of 12-9. South Medford won 12-3 in their recent league challenge against South Eugene (Eugene, OR)
