The Ionia Bulldogs baseball team scored 3 runs and held the visiting Charlotte Orioles to 2 in the Bulldogs league win on Wednesday.

The Bulldogs now own a 6-5 record. They take the field next when they host Alma for a non-league test on Saturday, May 10.

With the defeat, Charlotte drops to 8-6 on the year. The Orioles host Hastings (Hastings, MI) to clash with the Saxons in a non-league test on Thursday, May 8. The Saxons go into the test with a record of 1-13. Hastings lost 15-0 in their recent league test against Harper Creek (Battle Creek, MI)
