June 1, 2024: Paullina, IA 51046 Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Woodbury Central Wildcats (Moville, IA) and the host South O'Brien Wolverines (Paullina, IA), witnessed Woodbury Central's softball squad tip South O'Brien by a count of 7-3.
The Wildcats now sport a 9-1 record. They play next when they host Westwood for a Western Valley match on Wednesday, June 5. Woodbury Central will meet a Rebels squad coming off a 13-1 league loss to West Monona (Onawa, IA). The Rebels record now stands at 4-4.
With the loss, South O'Brien moves to 4-3 on the season. The Wolverines travel to West Sioux (Hawarden, IA) to meet the Falcons in a War Eagle match on Monday, June 3. The Falcons go into the match with a record of 0-7.
