Iowa High School Softball - Ballard holds off Boone
June 17, 2024: Huxley, IA 50124 The Ballard Bombers the visiting Boone Toreadors softball squad by a final score of 10-8 in Monday's non-league battle.
The Bombers (7-13) will now prepare for their battle against Van Meter (Van Meter, IA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league battle with a 24-1 record. In their last battle, Van Meter held off Twin Cedars (Bussey, IA), 17-1, in a non-league battle.
The Toreadors now possess a 10-11 record. They play next when they travel to Southeast Polk for a non-league battle on Tuesday, June 18. Boone will meet a Rams squad coming off a 8-5 league loss to Waukee (Waukee, IA). The Rams record now stands at 15-12.
