Iowa High School Softball - North Polk bounces Boone
June 26, 2024: Boone, IA 50036 In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting North Polk Comets softball team scored a nice 11-1 win over the Boone Toreadors.
The Comets (29-3) will now prepare for their match against Dowling Catholic (West Des Moines, IA). The Maroons come into the non-league match with a 11-10 record. In their last match, Dowling Catholic notched a victory over Clarke (Osceola, IA), 12-2, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Toreadors battle the Bondurant-Farrar Bluejays (Bondurant, IA) in a non-league match, on Thursday, June 27. Boone will attempt to better on its 17-14 season record. The Bluejays come into the match with a 21-9 record after their 2-1 league loss to Carlisle (Carlisle, IA).
