Iowa High School Softball - North Polk bounces Carlisle
June 24, 2024: Carlisle, IA 50047 In Monday's league match, the visiting North Polk Comets softball team scored a tight 5-1 win over the Carlisle Wildcats.
The Comets (28-3) will now prepare for their match against Pella (Pella, IA). The Dutch come into the non-league match with a 18-9 record. In their last contest, Pella nudged Pella Christian (Pella, IA), 13-0, in a league contest.
The Wildcats now hold a 22-7 record. They play next when they travel to Johnston for a non-league contest on Tuesday, June 25. Carlisle will face a Dragons squad coming off a 7-2 non-league loss to North Scott (Eldridge, IA). The Dragons record now stands at 21-8.
