Iowa High School Softball - Carlisle sneaks past Boone
July 1, 2024: Boone, IA 50036 The Carlisle Wildcats softball team scored 5 runs and held the host Boone Toreadors to 4 in the Wildcats league win on Monday.
The Wildcats now possess a 27-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Johnston for a non-league battle on Tuesday, July 2. Carlisle will confront a Dragons team coming off a 7-2 league win over Southeast Polk (Pleasant Hill, IA). The Dragons record now stands at 25-9.
With the loss, Boone moves to 17-17 on the season. The Toreadors host Pella (Pella, IA) to confront the Dutch in a non-league battle on Tuesday, July 2. The Dutch come into the battle with a record of 18-11. Pella lost 10-0 in their recent league battle against Norwalk (Norwalk, IA)
