June 19, 2024: Marion, IA 52302 Williamsburg Raiders (Williamsburg, IA) backers left the game pleased Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Marion Wolves (Marion, IA), 7-4 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Williamsburg upgrades its record to 21-4 on the year. The Raiders host Prairie (Cedar Rapids, IA) to play the Hawks in a non-league game on Saturday, June 22. The Hawks enter the game with a record of 6-4.
The Wolves now own a 11-12 record. They play next when they host Linn-Mar for a non-league game on Thursday, June 20. Marion will play a Lions squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Dubuque Senior (Dubuque, IA). The Lions record now stands at 12-13.
