Iowa High School Softball - West Delaware succumbs to Williamsburg
July 5, 2024: Manchester, IA 52057 In Friday's non-league test, the Williamsburg Raiders (Williamsburg, IA) softball squad overwhelmed the host West Delaware Hawks (Manchester, IA), by a tally of 13-5.
Next, the Raiders meet the Muscatine Muskies (Muscatine, IA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, July 6. Williamsburg will attempt to advance on its 26-11 season record. The Muskies go into the test with a 24-11 record after their 4-2 non-league win over Assumption (Davenport, IA).
The Hawks (15-20) will now prepare for their test against Crestwood (Cresco, IA). The Cadets go into the non-league test with a 12-16 record. In their last test, Crestwood was routed by Charles City (Charles City, IA), 9-6, in a league test.
