Coming up next, the Pirates clash with the Roland Rangers (Roland, OK) in a non-league test, on Monday, August 14. Gore will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Rangers come into the test with a 0-1 record after their 12-0 non-league loss to Eufaula (Eufaula, OK).
The Black Diamonds (0-2) will now prepare for their test against Poteau (Poteau, OK). The Pirates come into the 4A District 5 test with a 4-1 record. In their last test, Poteau was tipped by Red Oak (Red Oak, OK), 9-4, in a non-league test.
