Oklahoma High School Softball - Sallisaw falls to Poteau
August 14, 2023: Poteau, OK 74953 In Monday's league outing, the host Poteau Pirates softball team scored a nice 12-0 win over the Sallisaw Black Diamonds.
Coming up next, the Pirates battle the Stigler Panthers (Stigler, OK) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, August 17. Poteau will attempt to upgrade on its 5-1 season record.
The Black Diamonds (1-5) will now prepare for their outing against Checotah (Checotah, OK). The Wildcats enter the 4A District 5 outing with a 5-5 record. In their last outing, Checotah ran past Meeker (Meeker, OK), 13-0, in a non-league outing.
