Groveton Indians (Groveton, TX) backers were pleased Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team tip the visiting Chester Yellowjackets (Chester, TX), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Indians (7-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Woodville (Woodville, TX). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 5-5 record. In their last challenge, Woodville edged Livingston (Livingston, TX), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
