The Franklin County Lions edged the host Union County Panthers volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league outing.

The Lions now possess a 9-6 record. They play next when they travel to Pickens for a non-league outing on Thursday, August 21. Franklin County will play a Dragons team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to West Hall (Oakwood, GA). The Dragons record now stands at 8-7.
