Georgia High School Softball - Pike County bounces Upson-Lee
August 22, 2023: Zebulon, GA 30295 The Pike County Pirates routed the visiting Upson-Lee Knights softball squad by a final score of 10-2 in Tuesday's league battle.
The Pirates (3-5) will now prepare for their battle against Mary Persons (Forsyth, GA). The Bulldogs go into the 3A Region 2 battle with a 2-3 record. In their last battle, Mary Persons topped Peach County (Fort Valley, GA), 10-2, in a league battle.
The Knights now possess a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jackson for a 3A Region 2 outing on Thursday, August 24. Upson-Lee will battle a Red Devils team coming off a 5-1 non-league win over Whitewater (Fayetteville, GA). The Red Devils record now stands at 7-1.
